Mainstream internists/primary care physicians or gastroenterologists can do the classic stool tests for the most common parasites, but I've been told that those tests can miss many parasites.
Also, doctors that deal with international travel/international diseases can sometimes be knowledgeable.
I've found that a good naturopath, holistic MD (functional medicine type of MD), or even a good holistic nutritionist/chiropractor can order parasite tests from labs such as Great Smokies Lab.
Yes, Dr. Galland is renowned. I have his books and know one of his former patients.
