"Study: Mixing Alcohol With Artificially Sweetened Drinks May Spike Blood Alcohol Levels "http://www.webmd.com/content/article/122/114766.htm Now...keep in mind...alcohol converts to ethanol. Spirochetes ferment sugar and one of the end products is ethanol. So...artificial sweeteners MIGHT make a bad situation worse. How about a nice glass of mineral water with a lemon slice added or a REAL fruit juice (no additives, not reconstituted) or V8? Stick as close to natural as possible.
