Hi, I have seen a chiro/ND who uses kinesiology(muscle testing). She has her own method/protocol/decision tree to find source of symptoms, or presence of pathogens.
She also tests supplements. So I brought all meds and supplements in their bottles. In addition, I bagged a daily intake (a.m., p.m., etc) in separate bags, since some things react differently when together.
She also tests for dose (for vit's, min's, herbs).
It was interesting, because some things were not beneficial, or not tolerated, by the body, so I dropped many. Your instincts also will confirm some of the reactions.
It helped discriminate between brands, or added ingredients.
Also, not all her "positives" worked, i.e. my body negatively reacted to two that tested ok.
Also, I did some research on the web and found out that some herbs are only to be taken for a few weeks, while I was being tested as needing continuous dosage.
So, I add my own intuition to her results.

If you are talking about an EMG, I would just say "come as you are." I wouldn't take anything out of the ordinary ahead of time which might contaminate the results. If there is something there to pick up, you want to be able to pick it up. The same is true if there is nothing there. I would just say be well rested and hydrated, and have some ibuprofen on hand for the achinesss after the test. Also, if you can find someone to drive you home after the test, that would be helpful. Good luck!

thanks all.
The testing is ART testing and muscle response. We will be looking at heavy metals, minerals, parasites, food allergies. I will take the supplements that he takes daily with me.
I have been reading back threads and have more info now.
I know this chiro will have him send off a urine heavy metal test and an adrenal test.

I always brought food too. And if he hasn't
already changed his diet. You may want to bring
some gluten free stuff to test. So you have
other things to look at if his regular intake
all tests poorly. He will also probably be
looking for Candida as well. Bring fluids too.
Especially the water he drinks.
As far as testing goes I would asked for a
provoked test. You can use IV Glutathione if he
still has amalgams in his mouth. It will give you
a more accurate indication. Also hair analysis can
be helpful. Because it measures better what is in
the bones and tissues.
Best wishes.

If the person is a trained ART practitioner, he will have adequate test kits there, including the typical foods.
It is best if your son doesn't take any of the vitamins and supplements or abx on the day you take him there or maybe even the day before. If he has taken all these, he will test differently for them if his body is saturated already. Take with you a sample of the supplements and medicines he usually takes.
If he is trained in ART, he will have his own ideas/opinions/experience for challenge tests, hair tests, etc. Come as neutral as you can. Every aspect surrounding the tester and the testee have an influence on the results.
Go there in peace without many preconceived ideas. Neutral, and relax. Take only good energy along with you.
Take care.
