This is kind of encouraging.

The walk-in clinic that I use for minor medical stuff (and the clinic where I was offered the suggestion that my problems might be due to Lyme) treats all tick bites with antibiotics and tries to get people to have a western blot two months after the bite.

This part of Northern California is Lyme endemic and the level of physician awareness is better than in many areas. There are at least four physicians in the vicinity who treat chronic Lyme aggressively.

Hi David.

YOUR county is doing really well. Thanks in no small part to certain docs we know and love!

MY county, only one away from yours, is light-years away.

I send my walk-in clinic little snippets of info periodically to review, since they see a lot of patients initially. Dunno if any has sunk in, but every little bit helps.

Take care down southa me!

Michelle
