Well it looks like i am one of the unlucky ones....i broke out in hives all over...huge red welts!

Dr. M wants me off both meds and maybe off them for the summer.

Does anyone have any suggestions to what I could do next? I am devastated at the thought of stopping everything for three months!!

thanks for any info.

You might want to ask your doc about introducing some herbs

Why does He want you to wait 3 months Before trying another abx?

I have had allergic reactions. Waited a week or so and started something else.

I don't get the 3 months part at all.

Did you start them seperately? If not then how do you know which one it was?

What other ABX have you been on. There are a lot of good ones that are not in the family of those two drugs.

It is hives for sure...i emailed Dr M a picture and he is sure it was a reaction not a herx. They are all gone now and I just feel really hung over ( i wish that were really the case )
I started both meds at once so he has no idea which one it is....i have been on doxy and had no other problems...he does not like doxy in the summer because of the sun.

I am calling him in one week to reevaluate...does anyone know much about Tinidazole?

I am going to get an epi pen so if i do have any problems i have a back up.

I am sure you can all relate to the fact I am so sick I cant stop now!

thanks for all your ideas.
