Depends who you ask and what diet YOU ned to follow.
I eat no bread at all. If ou go to the local healthy grocery and read labels you should be able to find something that meets your needs. There is everything from low carb to gluten free.
If I were to eat bread I would stick to the sprouted grain varities by Ezekiel. They are in the frozen section.
I do not eat wheat.
Definately stay away from any bread you can get in the regular grocery store.......just my opinion.

Nope, not that I can buy. Bread has yeast, not on your diet.
I make spelt/rice bread sticks, but never more than once a week, and I just eat a little of it. It is not low carb but has no wheat or sugar and only a sprinkle of yeast. I eat it with lots of vegtables.
Changing your eating style will be the hardest part of your returning to health, and it has to last a lifetime.
When you eat junk, carbs and sugar, it all feeds yeast, the best thing to do is add a spash of lemon juice to your water. If you do it all the time it will be a big help.
All the other suggestions are very important too, but committing to changing your body ph will go a long way.
My SO eats everything, but does take a quart of well water with lemon in it to work every day. He still has many symptoms both of yeast and lyme and his progress is slow.
This week's TIME mag is all about the poor(junk) food Americans eat. Decent reading.

I can't eat any bread/grain, but julianbakery.net has Manna from Heaven bread and Smart Carb One. Both are about as good as anything else you'll find.

I make low carb muffins...made with flax seed and whey powder....they are pretty good. I dont go over board though and space out when i eat them.
No breads...no sweets....
i use unsweetened almond milk drizzled on a cup of puffed rice for breakfast and that is all the carbs i eat in the day.
i went off the diet and im miserable right now....it was so not worth it.
BUT tonite for the first time in awhile i actually craved lettuce...i could not eat enough lettuce... drizzled with olive oil and salt.
Listen to Mel she is so right about changing your diet.

I make a MEAN brownie, using egg protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, stevia, eggs, butter, and flax seeds. Delicious.
And it keeps me regular.

Big B,
I would love the recipe for your brownies.
I went off diet today and within hours the joint pain was horrifc. That is why I am sitting at my computer right now at 1:00am. The pain has me awake and I broke down and took Advil. I've been doing really well too darn it.

hey dana,
I think you have me(robi) and BostonLyme(Rob) confused.
I eat almost the same diet as you do. No oatmeal, seafood. waffles, cottage cheese or bluberries for me
It is a good basic list. Something you might want to try is organic ground cinnamon for yogurt and kefir. Also fresh ground flax seeds over salad or in a protein drink.
Just suggestions, robi ..... little "r" .... not from Boston
