Anyone know how I can apply for free malarone? Smith Kline makes it, but I can't find the process to apply for this. It is helping with my babs symptoms, but I'm financially drained. They did not have in Juarex, Mexico. Any info is greatly appreciated

Hi Martha,
This is a link to the program's website:
http://bridgestoaccess.gsk.com/

Give them a call and have them go over the details with you.

Good luck, I'm also trying to use this program. But am not that far into the process so I don't know if there are limits or what the copay might be. (I think thye are minimal)

For anyone else interested this is the same program used for Mepron.

I can't state the veracity of this site but they sell discounted anti-malarial drugs.

NP40,
The prices on that site were in line with what I was quoted from my local discount pharmacy.

I believe he quoted me $132.(ish) for 30 of the 250/100.

Which no matter how you slice it is way cheaper than Mepron, anyway. Cheaper or free is always more helpful, though. [Wink]

I'm bringing this back up so other people know what to expect and I'm also looking for other avenues.

I applied and was approved for Bridges to Access for Malarone. (Yeah, that's very nice.)

Ok, here's the kicker, for all the pain in the neck this particular program is, Ahem, this is the result...
I was able to get 16 tablets for $10. However, this is all that's allowed for the calendar year. So I may do that again next July.

Yes, it did save me better than $60 (and allowed me to test the waters with a new med inexpensively) and I am thankful for that.

If anyone knows a way of obtaining Malarone for less than around $135/30 tabs. I'd really appreciate the lead.

Thanks,
trueblue

(In a month or so I will be out of the ABX (macrolide) samples I have, as well, and the combination of those 2 and the Artemisinin, never mind the monthly probiotic bill, is higher than my monthly intake.)
