I have had a low body temperature (97.0ish) upon wakening for the past week. Within the past few days I have noted a numbness (sometimes throbbing pain) in the left side of my face/lower jaw area, soreness behind the earlobe, pain in the teeth, and what feels like a sore lymph node. (1 side only)
Also, these symptoms dramatically increase when I got outisde in the sun, even for as little as 20 mins. My cheeks and upper face turns bright red. A rash breaks out on my chest as well (even though it hasn't been directly exposed to the sun). I have a very dry mouth and fairly sore neck as well.
My face feels like it's on fire for most of the rest of the night, and my temp is somewhere around 98.0ish.
Upon wakening the next morning the rash is gone.
Has anybody else had comparable symptoms?

Hmm. I get facial tingling/pain/numbness on the side near jaw, etc. but no rash.

Hi, Yes many of them. The burning is due to parethesias and the numbness resides in the parethesias family. Have you had an MRI of the brain or C-spine?
