You have to be careful with coffee enemas and do them correctly. I follow the instructions on a great nutritional book. I think you should be using distilled water, not bottled. and make sure it is ORGANIC coffee and that you cook it according the how to do a coffee enema and not just how to make a nice cup.
I do NOT think you should do them every day. That would be too much. You might hurt your colon or cause yourself to not be able to go so easily WITHOUT the enema.
IMO---sometimes we just HERX and there isnt a way to clear things in time to stop the herxing. SOmetimes you just have to back off the abx and wait till it is clear enough.
I am sorry you are feeling so awful. I have been there. I am still there actually. Take care, Trails

I did know that they use it in caner. Also it is best to boil if you have GLASS not pots which I didnt.
If I get some sleep and dont wake up in PAIN again that would be a miracle.

There is a great tea to keep things regular, called SMOOTH MOVE. It's an herbal tea by Traditional Medicinals. Great stuff.

Just one more thing to add. The caffeine in the coffee can cause a significant reaction as it gets absorbed by your colon. I know we Lymies aren't supposed to have caffeine, which is why I don't do coffee enemas, though I have in the past with success.
So just be aware that if you feel jittery, anxious, etc. it may be from the caffeine your body has absorbed.
I am not sure about using decaf as the process they use to make decaf uses chemicals. Although there is one kind of decaf that doesn't and it eludes me now....something about water.
but I do agree with above that glass and organic coffee is good.
Cheers, Alison

Talked to the LLMD, he said go off the doxy and try 2 enemas a week then 3 a week if all goes well.
I might cheat and give mysefl one tommarrow.
Just make some extra coffe and let it sit there for a while. That cooks up the acids.
I had a little strage nervous or moving feeling. It could have been from the enema. Nothing serious though. Tying to clean up.
Still on biaxin xl 1000mg a day and ALINIA 3 days a week.
Only problem I have it wiht gas and constipation. Super Colon Cleanse has done much for that. Adding probiotics helped too.
However I had a bowl of IRISH oatmeal this morrning and some cheese in the after noon. It gives me so much gas and bloating.
I think Im allergic to the stuff. Does this point to yeast?
I took OIl of OREGANO at insaine stregnth a week ago. I did nothing but clear my sinuses a little.

Those things work. I have done them before. My PCP is really into things like that.
