I have a question about all of these drugs and urine.

My urine, is very dark. I drink tons of water and when I do it remains clear.

Over night is a different story. When I wake in the morning it is dark and smells of the drugs I am taking: strongly.

Currently on:

Doxycycline 400mg
LDN 3mg
Losinopril 25mg (Blood Pressure)

Please advise.

John.

Well well well. So, you CAN smell, thats good! You have some temporal lobe activity intact.

Now, I havn't checked these drugs for the dark urine thing, but I've also had the dark smelly urine thing, but for me it had nothing to do with the drugs as sometimes I could be on the same drugs, drink lots of water, no dark urine, other times it would stay dark for a couple weeks.

For me, this was a Babesia sign yelling- Kill me Kill me, I'm in your red blood cells being a nasty piroplasm.

Dark urine can be a sign of Babesia. However, as I havn't looked at the drugs you're taking for possibly causality, here's a question, how long you been on these meds? How long have you had the dark smelly urine?

I Second the drink lotsa water.
Dont forget while you were sleeping your body does its repairs also and removes the dead overnight it sorta overloads the cleaning like a vacume bag needing emptied because instead of emptying it every 3 rooms you emptied it at the end of the day.

Remember if your Doc dosent do this you should remind him to check your liver functions and your blood for acids building up at least every 2nd month.

It could be your body processing debris, die off, ect ..
if you are feeling symptoms of die off with it it may be more likely.

I can't emphasize enought the need for serious liver and other digestive organ/lymph/kidney/intestinal, ect. maintainance detox and cleansing while on medications.

I so wish I had started that much earlier than I did, and in retrospect realize I needed to be much more attentive than the standard LL support reccomendations.

If your organs stop functioning optimally (either from infection or treatments)..
you pretty much have systemic problems that may not be distinguished from the rest..
and your biggest aide in getting well (your own body) has a really tough time helping.

Some folks who cannot get anywhere with abx, have cleansed and rebuilt, and the next time a course of abx is used, they fare much better on them.

Move it out, move it out..always.

That said -

dark urine can also be a sign of Babesia, as babs destroys red blood cells, and the debris from that can show in dark urine.

You should probably keep Babesia in mind as well (symptoms, have you been treated for it), below is one of the best articles on the disease, IMO, if you haven't read it already:
