On 1/28/99 a Nevada Dr. clinically diagnosed that I had Lyme disease. Four months later a non Lyme literate oncologist said I did not have LD but a Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Mycosis fungoides.
I was shocked.
By 2004 my MF symptoms were in remission and the reporting HMO pathologist was shocked as he found no evidence of MF.
I requested tissue evaluation by BRT but the HMO intervened.
July 2001 - July '03 I took IV antibiotics 3 to 5 days a week. I also took ongoing oral antibiotics (now prohibitively expensive) but the esions and skin tumors did not leave until I used Miracle II neutralizer to elevate pH and Miracle II soap to "detox".
Now a study asks what I was wondering:
Mycosis fungoides: is it a Borrelia burgdorferi-associated disease?

Regarding your first post; following IV treatment 1999-2000 and 2001-2003 my Lyme disease symptoms improved but I remained disabled. I don't know how you define "remission." To me it = symptom free. Two of my three cancers are in remission. The third is not.
I did not see the NATURE article. Agreed: some Pics of MF (stage 1 and 2) look like ACA but the latter stages of MF can look awful. The web sites like to show the exotic forms the disease can take. not all MF sufferers have such things, I understand.
Here is a web site about Miracle II. The products I found most helpful are pH neutralizer and soap.

Nevertheless, my oncologist, K, is delighted that my MF tumors left after I received antibiotics.
What better "objective evidence?"
Unlike my Lyme my cancer didn't need a +pos Western Blot to be diagnosed.
In 2004 Dr. K said I had Hodgkins disease, and told me to begin chemo but I declined. In 2003 I took UVB light treatments but they did only left me with new skin eruptions on my right shin.
I am dealoing with those w/a bloodroot compound the FDA recently banned.
having almost died in 1997 I suspect no one in conventional medicine would have considered a mistake or misdiagnosis cause death.
I read that 20% of autopsies find cause of death different from what Drs. initially suspected.
Even if a problem is idiopatic or autoimmune if it respondeds to antibiotics better than anything else, you use antibiotics. No one offered me an equally effective, economical and safe option. So I suggest antibiotics are reasonable & medically necess.

Miracle II was banned in Canada- I'd like to hear your take on the stuff though.
I researched this. Another produt was in question. No problems with the II that I know.

In short, the Neutralizer/ soap baths helped me not have horrible itching after showering. The neut helped my oral abx to work better: after six months the MF tumors were gone.
I commend B Vance to you to tell about product ( see web site above). Ask him about discounts do not buy off his web site but call him.

I guess this is a slightly different cancer and the article is referring to dogs, not humans, but a scarey prospect nevertheless.

The article goes on to say that many dogs do eventually develop cancer within 4 years of contracting Ehrlichia due to the immune weakening effects of this tickborne illness.
P.S. Neil, If I could ever get home to my parents farm in WV I could dig you up some bloodroot (hubby is too sick to travel long distances). My brothers wildcrafted this herb and others for spending money when they were in school.
