My doctor is recommending Alinia. Has anyone had experience with this?
Thanks!

Yes, Alinia is very effective. But it's got to be taken about 20 days at much higher doses than what is common. If I had to do it over, I would also make certain doing a www.drnatura.com to cover a broader base.
Also if you believe you do not carry any excess heavy metals, do not be surprised if they show up at one point. Parasites are holding metals in their cell walls and they will surface with the die-off. So don't think herx - it is very possibly "metals in circulation" for which you should protect yourself as you should with any die-off.
But I would encourage anyone to do a Colonix as per the link. You will be very surprised. In fact I would do that program before Alinia if I had to do it again.
Take care.

Scott, in week one and you have not seen some results yet???? You ain't seen nothing yet, but you do have to look close. An old chopstick works great and so does an old colander lined with toilet paper for easy disposal. Sorry, folks, but nobody should do this without really taking a close look.
I promise you, you will try to change your eating habits, and upon completion of the program, at least two months, if you have lived on a Western diet, you will feel so much relieved of unnecessary garbage, and you health will take off like a rocket when you start absorbing all the nutrients again.
Have patience and do it. It will pay for itself many, many times over again and again.
It is as simple as: 2 - 4 pills in Am with water, followed by a fiber product that you mix easily into juice. Drink it. Takes a few minutes all together. Do all day as usual; no special diet. Then have a cup of tea before going to bed. That's all. The whole program consists of 3 products (parasite capsule, fiber, tea). You will see results followed by results followed by results. Easy and comfortable. You will drop a few pounds during this process -- pounds consisting of things you should have never been carrying around with you.
Nuff said.
Take care.

I'm just about to start this Drnatura program and anxious to see what happens.
Just wondering if there's anything I need to do to replenish my system while I'm doing this. Thanks!

I have been on Alinia (500mg 2x a day) for about 2 months (after about a year of other combo therapies). I am also taking Ketek (watching liver enzymes closely). I have had really good luck with Alinia, and it seems to really be getting at some things that haven't been touched by the other drug combos. I particularly notice neuro herxing from it, hopefully breaking up some cysts and some very persistant babesia.
Good luck!

Andie, if you do the Kefir and make yourself the Raw Cultured Veggies, you will be well covered with plenty of the good bacteria. I now do both of these and we love them - not pills or capsules - but real honesty goodness food. I serve a little dish (couple tablespoons) of the veggies with every meal, on the side. Both of these have been discussed here and are so easy to make at home. Mo is really the expert and I am thankful to her. I posted a link for the veggies just recently. These are nutritious foods that we now use all year round.
Don't worry about replenishing - as a starter - your body will be so thankful to unload - you will feel different and everything will work better for you. Once you see, you will probably agree with me.
Take care.

Thanks, Gigi; I happen to really love kefir. Now, I'll do a search for the veggies.
