Finally got my MRI Brainscan done on Monday.
There were the 'Whitematter lesions',quite a few of them. And some looked like the Demyliniation lesions [possilbe MS? or perhaps the LD Mimicry]. Written report should be sent to us in a few days.

My blood work showed some problems and I wonder how often it happens, this way. I have been ill for a very long time, and have just found out about all the LD/TBD's fairly recently, considering I have been ill since I was 14 years old.

How often does rather severe adrenal deficiency or depletion[? I think thats the words ?] occur??? The hormones and aminos in the blood,or whatever they are called should be at about '200',mine was only '38'. I was told that this is why I am so weary and worn out,and it needs treatment NOW. It makes sense, some days my legs[rt. especially] just don't want to work andI have no energy. Perhaps it is also part of why I sprain so easily as well?!

Have a lot of y'all had this issue? I am figuring it might be fairly common with LD/TBD's???

The Igenex LD testing should be in before the end of the month, hopefully in about a week and a half, and I am hoping the bands,at least a few of them ,do show postive. Insurance will want us to go thru a lot more stuff/tests etc. if it isn't CDC positive, before they will help. We aren't rich, and I know most of y'all are in the same spot.

Thanx for any comments/tho't you may have!! From Silverwolf the cornfused.

Adrenal deficiences, fatigue and lesions showing on MRI's are all common for lyme sufferers.
May have to go the LLMD route.

Hey there <<<< NP40 >>>>> thanx for the comment! I have gotten this far because i am working with an LLMD/ND team and Neuro. But I wans't sure how common the Adrenal stuff was.

Sometiems it takes me a bit to figure out what is up! Apologies for not being clear! Dr. may have said the adrenal thing was common, and i missed it. We suspected about the Lesions and the MRI proved it. Thanx again for hte info'!

Hi Wolfie!

I read about your other problems on the General board, and just wanted to say I feel so bad that things are not going your way. I am also feeling very ripped off right now -- because of school, not Lyme.

Yes, I have heard of adrenal problems due to Lyme, though I have never been teated for that. Hope you can get on your meds for that soon, and begin to feel a difference.

An MRI might show lesions that look like MS. You can read about it HERE. It might take an expert to tell which is which, or a SPECT scan to better sort it out. If your symptoms and history are more in keeping with Lyme, it's most likely Lyme!

I hope that at least puts your mind at ease. I just had a resonance test done for my ears (not an MRI -- forget what they call it). I have hearing loss in the upper register from, well, you know. Should be interesting to find out the results.

Feel better soon,
Shaz

As far as the adrenals go, you might want to look into "standard process" PMG adrenal support. I use a number of the PMG supports for adrenal, spleen and pancreas. I muscle tested very strong for all three. These PMG products are a long term rebuilder support for the organs.

<<<<< NP40,Shazdancer,Lymetoo,JohnLyme >>>>> Thanks for input and info'!!!

It does help to know that htese are all common w/ Lyme!!!

My LLND has some medicne oredered for me,to help with the Adrenals, and cholestral issues as well!! Now that money from an over charge at the lab has been returned I will be getting my meds! I will also be continuing on Cats Claw for the time being!

Sure am tired tho' and waiting to find out if my Lyme test is CDC positive so the insurance will help w/meds.If not there is more spendy testing they want me to undergo, and we are not rich. We suspect my hubby Txcoord has the same TBD problems i do.

Just the slightly Cornfused Silverwolf wandering about... sometiem today ai gotta get a shower...
