All 5 of us in our family have lyme and MDL's Wb NEVER showed anything for any of us. It had showed up in my kids in Igenex WB and some urine/blood PCR's through MDL. PCRs are hit or miss though.
You may want to do a search on bands to see what the numbers represent. 41 is related to lyme- and IND means there may have been something there.
If the doctor won't treat - which he should based on the fact you had a tick and a rash and are exhibiting classic symptoms- I would 1. find a new doctor or 2. run more tests.

While 41 is in the CDC criteria specific band...the IND means it's indecisive/
The 30 band may not be a cdc specific band...
However if they were both positive in the IGM...I would think the person had active lyme infection.
Furthermore and or in spite of the test results...any good LLMD worth his weight in ticks would make a CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS based on symptoms of the patient...
and hang the test results...cuz they are most inaccurate.......when negative.....especially...
What is this llmd afraid of......???
You're Dd.....remembers the tick bite and had the bullseye rash...and symptoms related to this disease....
That should be enough.....
Ask him to give your Dd some Suprex abx and test a week later by pcr........
That's what I think.........zman

Well, I don't know much about WBs, but check this out......
quote:In my clinical experience, if a patient has symptoms suspicious for borreliosis, and has one or more of the following bands, there is a very high probability the patient has borreliosis.
These bands are 18, 22, 23-25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 37, 39, 41, 83, and 93.
This is true regardless of whether it is IgG or IgM..
(later in 2005, he states..........) The significant antibodies, in my opinion, are the 18, 23-25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 39, 58, 66 and 93.

I would agree that 30 is potentially significant and would warrant other coinfection tests, possible treatment and retesting.
