Herxes are awful. During my worst ones I wondered if going through the pain was worth getting well. But trust me, it WILL get better, no matter how long the pain lasts. Don't give up hope, and remember to breathe. You'll get through it.

I have had them range from a few hours to a few months. But I never went off an abx due to herx.
If things get to bad call your llmd. Maybe he can change something or add something to make the symptoms more bearable.
In my expereince the longer I have been on an abx the less severe the herxes are. So hang in there. I also think it is always so much harder to deal with herxes in the begging because the concept that feeling worse actually means improvement is so illogical.
So trust me things will get better.
Best wishes
Are you drinking water? For me if I drink lots of water herxes are not quite as severe.
