I'm doing so much better except I continue to have a lot of neuro symptoms. I've been tested thorugh Igenex for Babesia and tested borderline. My LLMD hasn't even addressed this issue.
I know many people take ART for babs. What else will help get rid of this?

If you tested borderline and you have the clinical symptoms I would try the Art. The tests are not 100% accurate anyway for Babs.

Snowboarder-
my DR has prescribed Malorone in addition to the mino i'm on, because he suspects babs, though it hasn't shown up on either of my Igenex tests for it. Sounds like your labs are at least slightly more definitive than that.
take care- just Dilly today

The Western Blot only detects a few strains of the many Babesia strains. And you have symptoms with a borderline test. Treating seems reasonable.
Artemesinin is very good for treating Babesia, in most cases other anitparasitic / antibiotic drugs are necessary in conjunction.
There have been quite a few posts recently on artemesinin, discussing the relative merits of various forms and dosing schedules.
I have been taking Artemisinin from Allergy Research Group, 400 mg twice a day to start with and recently 300 mg twice a day. I take it for 5 1/2 days, break for 1 1/2 days and then back on. The break allows repopulation of the babesia.
Oh, my tests for Babesia were all negative but Babesia showed up on energetic testing. I herxed on artemisinin with Babsesia type symptoms: chills, cheat pain and shortness of breath. Appartenly, Babesia has been a bigger problem than I suspected.

I took three courses of Nivaquine chloroquine spaced at least one week apart, three months of pulsed primaquine after taking a G6PD deficiency test, and artemisinin as temporary maintenance. So far, so good, although the primaquine did cause a temporary case of anemia.
