Hi,

I am trying to pull up threads here on the use of low doses of abx for lyme and co.

I know I have read some in the last yr, but I can't get to them searching "low dose" or "low dose abx"

Any ideas?

Char

Hi Char,

I wish I could help with the search, but I don't know what would help?

However, I am one of the people who took lower dosages and it helped me, it has also helped my son, my sister and my Mom so far.

I never really took extremely high dosages of abx, I think at one point I worked up to 100mgs of minocin a day for a little while, but I stopped because of severe herxing. I am getting well on the lower dosages though, even for co-infections such as Babesia.

Hope this helps you somewhat.

These days, people take targeted abx, not high dosages. The standard Dr. B protocol is to combine a cephalosporin with a macrolide, and pulse in a cyst buster.

Check out the Marshal Protocal and the Marshal site. He is treating bacterial infections with extremely low doses of ABX. He has posted his research on his web site.
