I have to research drugs all the time. I actually find wikipedia.org to be a great resource.
You can also access Merck manual online, but that can get pretty technical. They do have a paitent guide, but is not as thorough. http://www.merck.com/
Then there is RXlist, which is pretty good. www.rxlist.com
