Rob,
Do you think you are taking way TOO MUCH probiotics and getting too much yeast die-off?
I looked at the open bottle of Theralac in my fridge. That's supposed to be one of the strongest probiotics around. It's 20 Billion. One made me throw up (yes, I'm super-sensitive).
I looked up one bottle of Bio-K, a newer brand that a Lyme friend told me about but I haven't tried it yet. The one-bottle (it looks like a container of yogurt) contains 50 billion.
I know you want to kill the yeast, but you also might be killing so much your body can't detoxify it fast enough.
I don't know, I'm just throwing this out there as a different way of looking at the situation.
Also, the intestines move food through by a process known as peristalsis - basically causing contractions in the bowels to move things through.
I saw from your other post you have upped your fiber intake. I wonder if all this fiber and probiotics are really stirring things up too fast.
Let's see what others say.
Jill

I'm with Jill--I've had the same thing before when put on a candida program--I tried all these new products at once and they really sent me for a loop.
Start slowly.
gage your progress.
Increase your dosage.
While acidophilous will not likely cause die off, it will change your intestinal floral balance which can give you gas, diarrhea etc.
Good luck with your yeast fighting!
