was on it for 1 1/2 years will couple no abx breaks for month or so....loved it. Kept me stable even have foot reconstructive surgery and no "relapse" of lyme.
I did get dizzy once in awhile...wouldn't even realize that was from mino but saw some others complaining here about that.
Wasn't dizzy enough to note for me though.

You should do fine. It can knock you for a loop at first. I do remember the dizziness as well.
But if you're taking 100mg at a time, you should do great.
yes, you may herx....but that's how you get well!

I was on mino from May up until a few days ago. Worked my way slowly up to 400 mgs. I had some symptoms such as I felt dizzy and had bad headaches while getting used to each dose.
I had to stop due to hyperpigementation which is apparently a rare side effect. I'll be going on doxy and zithromax and an anti-viral - valtrex as soon as I get my prescriptions.
I've felt pretty awful since going off. Terry

I'm a wee bit nervous about the ``dizziness'' only because I have an old lesion that caused me a great deal of eye problems along with vertigo many years ago.
Spoke to the doc about it and understand Herx means Healing, actually looking forward to it (sure) ......yet the vertigo has me well-- down right nervous! But, it gets the critters and leaves the brain cells--bring it on!!
Now that I'm finished feeling sorry for myself --
Can anyone help with fitting in the probiotics along with the mini and diflucan? Should have asked originally...my apologies...I'm assuming I need to keep everything apart from each other, or does probiotics go along with anti-fungal?
Lymetoo..I'm taking your advice and ordering Theralac Thanks! I'm noticing tiny legs in the ice water!
Hope everyone is enjoying today and doesn't have time to answer people like me back.
Thanks in advance, Tory
