I am not sure if anyone can understand how bad I feel having to admit I will not be able to go to Dr. Jone's next hearing.

There, I said it.

I am feeling so poorly that there is no way.. unless some sort of miracle happens.. that I can go.. and it completely and totally breaks my heart.

More than anything I want to be there for him and the children who need us to go and support this action. I feel like a creep letting him do3wn after all he has done for us.

The last two times I said I couldn't go.. as I was too sick.. but I felt so bad about it I pushed myself... and I went. The trip made me even worse. I can't keep this up and expect to recover to my "normal crummy" level.

The ONLY way I would feel better about this would be to know others would go in my place.

I had the seat next to the door.. second row up and have been there for Dr. Jone's through this ordeal.. because he looked at me and said, "I want you ALL there".

I also attended Dr. J's hearings in NC to support him. But I just can't get feeling well enough to go any more.

I'm drowning and need your help. Would you please go in my place?

If five folks would go in my place.. I'd feel better. If ten would go.. I will promise to get some rest and hopefully recover enough to make the trip next time.

Please try. He needs you!

Thanks!

I'm sorry TC, I wish you felt better enough to go and hope you do again soon.

I can't possibly get there myself but, surely, there are at least 5 or 10 others that would be willing to wear your fruit hat.

Have you tried offering the fruit hat? [Wink]

We are all there in spirit. And whatever way is comfortable for you is enough. You do so much for the Lyme community.

Hurray -- international traveling -- congrats. Gives me an idea -- what about holding up signs saying where everyone is coming from?(UK supports Dr. J, etc)

Liver, HOORAY FOR YOU GIRL! Glad you are flying over for this and other things!

TC, YOU TAKE CARE OF YOU; we need YOU too! I too wished I live closer, but I don't.

Went to ortho surgeon today for a hip shot injection; OUCH plus! MD informed me my hip is completely worn out; told him NO; lyme spirochetes will take over more of my body then.

He finally gave me a shot; I'd have to talk to SURGEON if I want a new hip! So can barely walk and bathrooms are a must with me.

Hoping the MASS BUS WILL FILL UP with the generous offer made to those folks.

TC, so please get much needed rest; DELEGATE other stuff needing to be done; we'll all PITCH in our LIMITED CAPACITIES! This is a TEAM effort; and a handful of folks should NOT be burdened with everything!

You bushed your butt last time and paid the penalties being laid up for a long time since we saw your smiling face and read your humorous writings.

E. coast, please go for TC and ALL of us elsewhere in the USA. DLL; congrats girl to you for doing this. [group hug] [kiss] [group hug] [kiss] [group hug] to all!

Tincup,

I can't go (also feeling too poorly for travel), but I just HATE reading that you're feeling so crummy!

Make sure you take care of yourself as much as you take care of all of us.

Hi Tin,

I will be there and dragging at least one other person along.

Don't feel like this is all on your shoulders.

We in CT and new england have a responsibility to go if lyme has touched our lives. You are such a great inspiration for all of us..the least we can do is show up.

Hang in there...

Kim

Tincup,

I'm really sorry to hear you're feeling crummy; that hurts my heart.

Because of work demands (hey, I actually have work demands now...which is a huge change for me!) anyway, I'm not going to be able to make it up to conn.

Sorry about it, too. But DLL rocks for coming over from England. That's wonderful!

Feel better, Tincup!

Hugs,

Andie

Tincup...

Sorry your health is effecting your life and plans so much...

But I hope you take comfort that as much as a negative effect the lyme is having on you

that you have had a billion times greater positive impact on people on this board and in the entire lyme community.

Wish I could go.. but just not to that point...YET.

Rest up and take care tincup

I appreciate your kind words.. I do. Thank you.

I still hope someone out there.. that hasn't been before... will take it upon themselves to go. I had to talk to Dr. J's office today. It broke my heart to say I wasn't able to make the trip.

I told them I would try to get folks to come in my place.

Anyone that hasn't been to the hearings.. can you go? Please?

Please let Tincup rest, and rest easy, knowing that you are going to be in Hartford on the 16th in her place!
