Dear everyone,
I am from the Netherlands and I am here new. This day is the first time I am here.I found this site and I hope that someone can show me the way I have to go.I feel so hopeless and in the Netherlands nobody can help people like me.
I ask everybody here to help me and tell me what to do.I feel sinds 1998 when I came out the Hospital everyday sad.
Are there medicine for me? Is there hope for me?
I would like it to feel some better for one day.
Sorry for my English but I do my best.

Klaas

Hi Klaas!

I am a little new here, too. But I think it would be helpful if you could provide some of your symptoms or history.

Others will be along to comment soon.

Also... look at the newbie link near the top of the medical posts. It provides a lot of general information.

This is a confusing illness, but this forum has helped me so much and I know it will help you, too.

Best wishes,

Claire

Then we'll take it from there...like

What's your sickness or symptoms...
Any tests that are positive or negative....
Where you live in the netherlands...might be a person near by to help you....

etc.....please respond.....you have come to a good place......there is hope......

Hi Klaas,

don't despair. There is help also in the Netherlands.

I suggest you check out:

http://www.lymenet.nl/

and you can post in their forum:

http://www.lymenet.nl/forum/

Then, there is this phone number:

Nederlandse Vereniging voor Lymepatienten, Voor algemene informatic, Tel: 0900-210 00 22

You could also check out the EuroLyme Forum:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EuroLyme/

Or, if you speak German, you can check out the German Lyme Forum:

www.borreliose-forum.de

Lot's of good info everywhere. Good luck!

Gabrielle

Welcome Klaas to this board! I'm going to send you a PM, private message, with 21 pages of newbie links/advise about lyme disease.

Even though you are not under America's social security disability program, I'll include it to as I don't know if any of it might be good for whatever Netherlands have for you folks ok.

You did a beautiful job in your English in your PM to me Klaas! I'm happy to help you, and so are the rest of the folks here!

Gabrielle, God bless you for getting him some really good info in his native language! Thanks for doing this to help him as well.

I'll get my 21 pages off before I forget.

I noticed you are a music teacher Klaas! You are NOT alone anymore; someone is online for 22 of 24 hours I have found! [Big Grin]
