pain of the membrane around the bone.

somewhere on http://www.lymeinfo.net or org is a collation of lyme by organ/system. theres gotta be something here.

this is also mentioned somewhere by bleiweiss, in his treatise, "when to suspect lyme."

yes that is where i found the info.

very interested to try this test on friends to see if it is really true.

he said if you tap the tibia near the ankle
with the back of your thumb and it hurts and stays hurting this is a major dx symptom of lyme.

will test on some friends.

my story :
went to orthopod today for pain in knee,
but didn't feel like knee.
found out it was tendonitis or osteitis from
doing too much physical therapy.

1 injection and pain now gone. 3 weeks of
excruciating pain and couldn't get an appointment.

docdave ~
the LLMD I used to see in the old days (94ish) always ran his hands quickly down the inside of legs from knee to ankle. He had told me it was typical symptom and he tested each time to see how much you jumped.

He also always made me touch my finger to my nose with my eyes closed and told me when I could do that everytime I would be well. That's one of those things I can do sometimes and not others.

I bet doing these tests on friends you'll be a real hit at parties! [Big Grin]

I'm glad your pain is finally gone. Yay!
