would taking herbs like red root and burduck root and sarsparilla root help to lessen the general flu like feeling, crappy and toxic feeling you feel from being sick with lyme and babesia and the after effects of getting the chills and night sweats without even touching taking any antibiotics? i am looking for something to help these feelings. or would these herbs only be useful and help if you took them with antibiotics? thanks for any input,
radha

All released toxins need to be bound up. If not, dead protein feels bad, heavy metals feel bad and recirculate. Candida hold biotoxins, xenobiots, and heavy metals, and they do die off and leave this stuff behind unless you use a lot of mop-up material:

Chlorella, chitosan, pectin, cholestyramine, Destroxin, fiber such as in the www.DrNatura.com
Colonix, ground up flaxseed (not too fine), psyllium, charcoal once in a while for a day or two.

Do castor oil packs. Take some liver and kidney support (Liverlife, Renelix). Do colonics, colonics, colonics.

The quicker you get these released toxins out of your body, the better you will feel. More will follow - so keep doing some of these regimens. You will feel a lot better.

Learn about Kefir and Cultured Vegetables that you can make yourself. Fiber, fiber and making sure that you have a good turnout in the bathroom.
Do a Colonix cleanse. Look at the picture gallery on their website, www.drnatura.com.

That's all I can think of right now - but I know it works. Have done it myself many times.

Take care.

This is Stephen Buhner's website with Q&A - he is the person to ask about the herbs.

This site is all about Kefir.

Alka Seltzer is a detox helper that works too.

Bentonite clay ( you put the powder in water or capsules) absorbs toxins.

Sasparilla makes me feel worse . Burbur does nothing for me.

I really like a product called Fiber Fusion, by Enzymatic therapy , which absorbs toxins in the bowel. I buy it at Drug Emporium. I take three capsules a day with a glass of water .

About three nights a week, I take three capsules of activated charcoal ( NOT AROUND TIME OF MEDS OR SUPPs) . I take it right before sleeping , so it will not absorb meds or herbs .

I am a firm believer in pulsing ABX every other day ,an approach some protocols advocate . Too many toxins make life intolerable and stress the immune system.
