I know someone who is doing this program and he is doing very, very well. It is quite expensive, though!

I am incorporating much of this and I have not found it that expensive relative to the cost of drugs if someone is not covered by insurance. You don't do everything in the document.

The document that GiGi posted here is as close to my Lyme bible as anything. It is truly a powerful protocol.

Hi,

Yeah, it isn't as expensive as the drugs, but it is expensive if you don't have the $$$.

So, how are you doing on the protocol?

I wonder why some people respond so well to herbs and others do not and some respond to abx, while others do not. It's one of those unsolved mysteries I guess.

I am doing well overall. Not cured. Not 100%, but overall, I am doing well. Probably 80-90% of normal at this point. I think the protocol makes a lot of sense. I do also integrate more conventional options as well. See my web site treatment page for details.

Thanks Gigi, looks very interesting. Started to read it then realized it was about 34 pages long, so I'm printing it up now.

I'm not cured, but I feel like I am! I see I'm now more energetic than most 'healthy' people around me!

I used his protocol under guidance and I find it was fantastic in my case. I'm still on metal detox, but my detox symptoms are getting lighter and lighter.

I'm now on a fungal infection battle, from a pre-lyme infection (I had it for more than a decade before lyme appeared). I'm still on my way, but I feel improvement there too. I'm testing a Rizol oil, ingested and on the skin (bath).

I find the treatment also a bit expensive to my budget, but to tell the truth, my medical bills/ medicine/ herbal bills got muuuuch lower after I started this specific treatment + Buhner's herbs.

This is because I stopped taking the loads of supps that are usually recommended to lyme patients (like CoQ10, for example) to concentrate on fewer things, which were more adapted to my condition.

My bill of herbs/ supps was about 700 dollars before, it suddenly fell to about 350 and now it is about 200 dollars a month, half of it is spent on chorella. Before ART, I spent a lot on trial and error, buying tons of Vit C to test, magnesium to test, stuff like that. ART made things much easier.

I stopped visiting loads of doctors, neurologist, rheumatologist, cardiologist... I stopped going to emergency and to spend useless nights there and still having to pay those helpless ducks.

I'm only on andrographis 4 pills, 40 drops of teasel, Rizol Y, KMT sessions (I love this machine!) and the other normal metal detox supps.

I feel next to 100%, but I continue the treatment of lyme because ART shows I still have some borrelia in my brain.

I find this impressive but overwhelming. And since not so many good ART practitioners are around, it's difficult, because this is an overview of everything he uses, but each patient will be different and have their own schedule.

Gigi--what is the URL for rechtsregulat again? I googled it but didn't get there. Maybe it is on biopure, but I don't remember that URL either. Sorry!

Thanks for posting this. Selma, glad you're doing so well. You must have a good ART pratitioner.

Also, Gigi, Buhner is recommending a new herb for babesia--it's used for malaria in Ghana. I forget the name, something like cordilepis (sp?). [Smile]

Oxygenbabe, one of the best ART practitioners from here, next to Dr. K. comes to NY couple of times a year meeting with a couple of the best therapists from Germany. They treat there. In general, I have already asked her if she would be willing - of course, yes.

Let me know if interested and I will put you in touch with her for further info.

I lost a lot of my Favorites during the storm/5 day blackout and so far I cannot find my English version of the Rechtsregulat (100 half pages) on my computer. Am searching and will post if I find it. I luckily have a printed copy.

Take care.

Oxygenbabe, yes, I have heard of Cordyceps for Babesia. I have never used it. Mine responded to Artemesia, etc., and some other plant adaptogens.

One note: do not mistake symptoms as Babesia that are also strongly influenced by the hormonal imbalances, especially the night sweats, but also others. Many still thinking Lyme has the grip on them have not attended to balancing the hormones, bringing them back to normal. It is a big piece of the puzzle, especially if the heavy metal levels have not been reduced.

It's all one body system.

Take care.

I wholeheartedly agree with Selma when she says:

"My bill of herbs/ supps was about 700 dollars before, it suddenly fell to about 350 and now it is about 200 dollars a month, half of it is spent on chorella. Before ART, I spent a lot on trial and error, buying tons of Vit C to test, magnesium to test, stuff like that. ART made things much easier."

Look what Selma has accomplished in a short year's time!

And I also never had to prepay any 600 dollars to see any doctor as some others are reporting. Even in my worst days. What can add up is the IV's and sometimes they are life-saving. But as a rule, most of it can be done at a reasonable cost and by chosing different methods just as effective. You can fill your own capsules with the herbs or make your own tinctures.

Most ART practitioners also do not charge for neural therapy treatments -- all covered under the hourly/fraction thereof charge. I used to pay $300 per hour or fraction thereof for an office visit including NT, homeopathics, etc. It is now up to $400 or $420 in almost ten years.
The worth: The input I get via ART is the combination of diagnoses from possibly 10 different specialists that I would have to see and it takes minutes, rather than hours.

No, Kayda, or whoever brought up money, I will be forever grateful for the brain behind ART, for Dr. Voll's early starts of energetic testing, and this choice of protocol/roadmap. It's the only reasonable methodology that did not cost us a fortune. And it is only a roadmap. Oxygenbabe explains it well.

Many of the herbal products were not known or new.
Rizoles and Buhner is a huge break. My first choice would absolutely be the Rizoles and some of the Buhner herbs. Not the whole core protocol, but only what tests energetically. And slowly until some of the toxins are out.

Nothing works if you are heavy metal toxic or have lingering dental infections. That has to be dealt with. Heavy metals will keep Lyme flourishing. And I don't want to even think of what years and years of antibiotics and pharma drugs of every kind leave behind in the body!
They are necessary in the acute or early stage. I had a few months of them. But not years unlimited. We have other choices now.

Take care.

Hi GiGi,

I wish, I lived in WA but I can't afford to travel to Dr. K. Nobody else convinces me as much as him of their treatment.

I am from Germany originally and have about 60 hours of K. Workshops on DVD.

Since my Lyme is pretty advanced, I don't really dare to experiment much - too much pain.

My parents brought 9 bottles of Rechtsregulat from Germany, it eases my pain a lot.
I bought it on e-bay.de for half the price that Biopur has to offer. Type in Rechts Regulat and you'll find quite some sellers.

I have two questions for you:

Have you ever tried Superfood? It contains Chlorella and really works for me.

How does the Buhner Protocol, or Ingram, compare to Dr. K's theories?

Thanks for your time,

Sonja

Gigi, yes I will email you, I would like to see her. I've finished a few huge projects now and have time to really address this.

The Buhner herb is not codryceps--I think its cordilepis. I'll find it when I email you.

Scott, thanks for the website URL.

BTW, 2 very simple things I recently added:

1) I wasn't tolerating Vitamin C's well. I thought it was me. Turns out its the Vitamin C's. I spent time researching online at the Vitamin C Foundation. I ordered a Vitamin C powder from Needs.com, Metabolic Maintenance. Its pure, no contaminants. Another good brand is Douglas Labs. The VItamin C Foundation gets theirs from Douglas, but its a bit pricier. Its like night and day from all the other Vitamin C's I tried.

2) Water. After having some guests at my house, and the Mom loved having water with ice cubes, I got an ice cube fetish [dizzy] I started finding drinking water really pleasant and keep two glasses full with ice cubes in them and drink them constantly. I like biting the ice cubes [lol] But in any case, the point is, it really helps just to drink a lot of pure, filtered water, all day long. Its the simplest form of detox. Many are dehydrated and don't know it.

I see two ART specialists, one doctor and one naturopath. They have their own qualities, and complement each other in my case. One is good on homeopathics, balancing my organs, the other more on the infectious side and metal detox.

Both have little experience with Buhner's herbs though, but both are getting positive results with them lately, it seems. It's because his book is still new as well as his protocol.

ART is not everything, but an instrument that a good practioner will make a good use of. I love the thing because it made my road to recovery so much faster, I feel it's like having a picture of my body from the inside.

I was lucky to see the these 2 practioners, and I owe that to Gigi. I don't know where I was going to be today if I didn't get the right treatment back then. It was in April 06, LESS than a year!

I still changed a lot of my treatment by myself, even seeing these two practioners. This was because I needed change of herbs every 2-3 weeks, and I was seeing both practioners every 6 weeks only. Buhner's book was a good guidance then.

In my case, I owe a lot to Buhner then. ART helped me tune his herbs, the amount, etc. The rest was intuition, and trial/ error.

This disease is far too complicated to depend only on blood tests or other 'normal' tests. ART makes a shortcut if used by a good practioner.

It's virtually impossible to know if someone's air hunger comes from babesia, metal intoxication or a fungal infection or it's related to a canal root treatment, for example. ART is not a definitive answer to that either, but it does give you a good hint to start a treatment. The onion will get peeled, so it's not always a definitive answer, but it is a good hint, I feel.

My 2 year old daughter also followed the same practioners and got rid of a recent infection this last summer. Three weeks of amoxy did nothing to make her feel better, and still gave her candida. I gave her amoxy because we were 'abroad' when she got bitten.

I stopped to give her amoxy and started herbs following ART, attacking rikketsia, bartonella, ehrlichia first, then borrelia in the end. Co-infections disappeared amazingly fast, but borrelia and candida lingered longer.

For borrelia, I added all Buhner's main herbs by myself though, in low doses. She's still assymptomatic to this day.

I start to understand the passion of Gigi for ART!

The recent article of Scott, who interviewed an ART practioner not long ago, is also very interesting.

It's 2:15 AM here, I still feel energetic. But it's time to go to bed!

Oxygenbabe, hope you'll find a good ART practioner too!
Selma
