Just a quick question on testng for Lyme and
Co-Infections while on antibiotics.

My doctor after 3months of Amoxicllin just decided to run tests for Babesia, Erlichia,
Bartonella, ANA, CRP, ESR and 2 Lyme tests.

How accurate while on antibiotics? I don't understand why we couldn't do these at the start.
The response then was that testing is not accurate and treatment is not proven.

You may be MORE likely to show positive on these tests now that you've been treated with antibiotics.

I would suggest going off abx for two weeks before doing a WB.

From the order form it looked like 2 elisa tests
to 2 different labs.

Finally I get my co-infection tests after begging
several doctors for months.

Why this was such a big deal Ill never know.
