Does it make sense to take Ailinia & Mepron together ?

My Doc has be on the combo....

Are they safe to take at the same time ?

Thanks for the reply.

I held off on my morning dose of Mepron to see how the Alinia would effect me.

So far I can tell it is doing something... although I really do not have enough in my system yet.

I'll probably take my evening dose of Mepron since I am tolerating Alinia fairly well ( considering ).

Been reading a lot of the old posts on Alinian.
Thanks Scott for all your infor.
My doctor put me out for Toxoplasmosis but also said that I still had some chronic infection which he didn't know if it was the Toxo or Lyme or both.
He metioned Nepron as a treatment for Toxo and I had been on that for Lyme for several months years ago. didn't seem to do much for me.
The Alinia is really causing me all kinds of herxing type reactions, which my doc is of course saying is die off. But it is driving me a bit mad.
Defintiely supposed to work better with food and if your fluids aren't turning bright yellow, I guess it's not working, so I've been told
Thanks again everyone for your input, guess I'll stick with til the end of 3 weeks even though I hate it. (side effect, wise)
Taking 2 500 mg 2X a day and probiotics when I remember [Wink]

How long are you guys taking Alina for? My doctor rx'd it for 1 week at 500 mg twice a day. That seems a little short, but she said she doubt'd the insurance would pay for a longer time. Regarding the babesia, hopefully, hopefully, it helps.
