In a segment on upcoming passport requirements yesterday evening, the reporter covered a border crossing to Mexico. I think it was at Nogales.
Anyway, in the narration he mentioned, in a completely offhand manner, that many of the U.S. citizens crossing back into the U.S. were bringing back cheap medicine. There was no mention or allusion to this being in any way problematic.
Does anyone else have recent information on this?

It's not illegal at all. SOME meds are, however. You would need to find out which ones are OK.
If you don't have a prescription for some of the meds they can take care of that too!!! Some meds do not require a prescription, even if they DO require one here.
I have a friend who goes to Mexico all the time for meds.
