hey,

well, i'm sure by now most of you have seen me on here-and know my story...

i tried rocephin back in aug/sept-but got gallstones-switched to claforan and after surgery had an allergic reaction to claforan-got really sick, ended up having babs become active from surgery.

i went on doxy, then malarone and biaxin and 3 months later i am now back on IV rocephin.

I am also taking biaxin and malorone or maybe it's meprhon? can't remember-

I am broken out in hives and they won't go away-they used to go away if I took valtrex, which makes me gain about a pound a week. I was on that for the last month in half.

My LLMD is increasing my dosage by 500 every week for 4 weeks until i get to 2grams a day.

Yesturday was my first day on the increase from 500 to 1000. I am pretty exhausted today-and I've noticed that I am much more sensitive-

for example, i get shocked by everything, i have more nerve pain (it's all over my body and feels like someone is inside me pressing on certain pressure points which make u to tell them STOP but also like a pin pricking you. As if you had 100 needles all together and when they barely press it tickles but then it hurts as it goes in-only there are no needles and it's inside i can point to an area but can't touch it.

My fingers are always different temp and toes. It used to just be occasionally but now it's all the time. My joints are so so so sore and my memory of course still sucks.

Is this normal? I don't remember feeling this way on it before-but maybe i just don't remember. oh and the numbess and tingling are so bad-from my hands to my feet it all goes numb in minutes if i don't constantly move.

My body is exhausted but my mind is racing and i can never seem to get good sleep. I have to drink about 12 cups of coffee so i can work-bc i have to work to pay for all this.

if you live in northern california and know of a great job that involves good pay and benefits and can be flexiable with doctors and nurse-LET ME KNOW!

So my question-i guess it's really more of an open ended question-is this normal? how can i fix it? does this post even make sense?

-Lindsay

LINDSAY- wow- I remember being shocked by everything- I am assuming you are talking about hat static electricity "shocked" which when I first got sick there was this weird WEEk where I kept getting shocked BADLY by almost whatever I touched- but boy getting in the car was horrible!
And THEN when I went on Rocephiin there was another week like that- it was REALLY weird!!!!!!!!!!!

I know where Burlingame is kinda= howdy*)!
If I hear of the perfect job I will let you know*)!
Take care,
I hope Rocephin does for you what it did for me!
Best wishes,
Sarah

lyme too I am not familar with that sign? what are you trying to say?

Do you think it's good that my symptoms are more present because that means I'm killing the lyme-

Or are they just more present because they are taking over my body-

I am so confused-

Anyone who has been on IV Rocephin please help me!

Linds
