I have a pretty bad stiff neck, but i have noticed it worse when i turn it to the right, then it is to the left. My left side is alittle more stiffer than the right also. My left side of my brain feels likes it in a vice grip most of the day. Im just wondering if amy of you all have similiar types problems, where as once side kind of dominates more than the other. Thank You Brian

Lyme disease has always hit me the most of my left side. It seems that a lot of lyme patients have one side that is worse than the other.

mine's right down the middle of neck/skull area due to a serious fall i had as a toddler off a grain trailer to concrete slab floor!
helpful excercises!
rolling the shoulders;
tilt your head down as far as you can on one side for 5 seconds; then do the other for 5 seconds for 15-20 of them;
raise your shoulders to your neck which helps relax...for 5 seconds; 15-20 of them.
roll your head in circles....high to low;
another good excercise if you/your wife has pantyhose...
tie them to a door; now pretend you are ROWING A BOAT KEEPING YOUR ARMS STRAIGHT AND PULL STRAIGHT BACK doing this for 20 times working up to 40-50.
really helps the neck and shoulder blades in the HUMP area of back! good luck with these excercises i paid a PT $$$ for!

Mine is one-sided, on the right side. I have to go for very good chiropractic neck treatment to unlock it. It's a temporary fix.
