Here is the routine I'm on. How do I organize this appropriately on a daily schedule to avoid conflicts? Are their any contraindications between any of these treatments? So far I've read none. Patients of Dr. H would probably be best able to make suggestions here.

Minocycline 100mg x 2
Rifampin 300mg x 2
Grapefruit Seed Extract
Dr Zhang's Coptis 1 x 3
Dr Zhang's HH 1 x 3
Dr Zhang's Artemesia 1 x 3
Amantadine 100mg x 2
Lamictal 150mg x 2
Bupropion 200mg x 1
ALIVE Multivitamin x 1
ALA 300mg x 1
NAC 600mg x 1
Ativan x 1
Nexium 40mg x 1

Here is the routine I setup, let me know if this is appropriate.

Or, can I mix the herbs with my morning medications?

quote:

6 a.m - HH, Coptis, Art

7 a.m. - Pentasa, GSE, Amantadine, Minocycline, Rifampin, Buproprion, Lamictal,

Noon - HH, Coptis, Art, ALA, NAC, Nexium, ALIVE

8 p.m. HH, Coptis, Art

9 p.m. Pentasa, Amantadine, Minocycline, Rifampin, Lamictal,

Bedtime: Ativan

I am also having the same problem with all my meds... I finally set something up...

8am- Zith, Plaquenil, Septra, Mepron ( I hope its ok to take all these at the same time)

10am- Mulit vitamin/mineral

11am- Glutathione

8pm- Zith, PLaq, Septra, Mepron

10pm- Theralac, Ultra FLora

I still have to add in ART and Samento... SO I am a little confused where I would add those?

Here is how I would arrange yours, assuming all the medicines are safe to take together as you have them (The Mepron is the only questionable one, since I know little about it).

Bactrim, Plaquenil, and Zithromax are unaffected by multivitamins and minerals, unlike Tetracyclines. If you wish, you could take them together, but the routine I setup may be easier to follow.

Taking the multivitamin with Glutathione, and with the Artemesia would allow some flexibility. Just Like Samento, it can be taken with Artemesia.

It is preferred to keep the probiotics far away from antibiotics by about 2-3 hours.

It would look like this.

quote:

7 a.m. Wake up - {Empty Stomach} Artemesia, Samento,

1 hour rest and eat at 8-9a.m.

8am-9: Zith, Plaquenil, Septra, Mepron

2-3 hours rest

11am-12: Glutathione, Multivitamin, Samento, Artemesia

12pm-1: Eat

5 hour break (This allows flexibility, only 2 hr is needed between missed doses if you miss a time frame)

Eat anytime you wish during the 5 hour period. Or eat right at 6 if you wish. This flexibility period allows 2 meals, so if you wish to snack you could.

6p.m.-7: Zith, PLaq, Septra, Mepron

4 hour rest (Another flexibility period)

10pm-11- Theralac, Ultra FLora, Artenesia

Sleep for 8-10 hours.

If you have insomnia, or start missing doses on time, shift things to tighten up the "Flexibility periods". You really only need 2 hr between each medicine in most cases and about 30 mins "before" meals to take "empty stomach meds, like Artemesia".

Some may do fine with minocycline, however, if you experience severe vertigo or tinnitus, you may be having a vestibular-toxic reaction. Minocycline is known for that.

NAC (that is on your list) may help and B-6, if added might offer further protection. If it does not help you miight consider switching to or doxyc.

I'd take the Samento on that schedule I quoted for you. I'd go with it around 7 a.m. and then perhaps around the Dinner does. Artemesia can be taken when you wake, then around 11, and then late evening or at bedtime. You can take it with Probiotics if you wish.

I have a few more questions. Do I have to take the Zhang herbs away from my other medications? I'd prefer to only take medications 3-4 times per day if possible. Something like this, would it be acceptable?

quote:

6 a.m - Pentasa, GSE, Amantadine, Minocycline, Rifampin, Buproprion, Lamictal, HH, Coptis, Art

Noon - HH, Copris, Art, ALA, NAC, Nexium, ALIVE

8 p.m. HH, Coptis, Art, Pentasa, Amantadine, Minocycline, Rifampin, Lamictal,

Bedtime: Ativan

Can NAC, Glycine and ALA be taken with Zhang's Artemesia at the same time? I read in the Babesia book that it's good to use these, I'm just not sure whether they can be taken at the same exact time.

Any comments?
