Since many Lymies suffer from chemical sensitivities and other immune dysfunction, we should be very careful about all the products that we use.

Cosmetics, hair care products, dental products, etc. are extraordinarily poorly policed. You'd be amazed by how many have illegal, let alone unhealthy, products in them -- even (especially) major brands.

The site above lists products of "high concern" (those containing allergens, carcinogens, toxic stuff that bioconcentrates, etc) as well as those of "low concern". It's very easy to use and gives a lot of detail in a simple format.

It does have a splash page for a home page -- if you don't want the monthly email, just hit the "no thanks" button and you'll go right to the product listings.

Thanks Minou! [Smile]

I suppose I could be doing worse and maybe a bit better.

My favorite soap was not on there.
KIRK's Original Coco CASTILE.
Darn, I'd like to have seen it's break down.
The ingredients listed are: coconut soap, water, coconut oil, vegetable glycerin, natural fragrance. (kind of sketchy)

My fall back is Dr Bronner's peppermint-hemp 18 in one.

Thank you for this link. I am a consultant for a botanically based skin and health care company. I appreciate having other product's facts sheets to compare, as my company has them readily available.

Although, they are usually reluctant to share their ingredient list, and they should be.

For demonstrations, I have to jars with dehydrated apricots. One is sitting in water, so it's plumped to original size. The other is sitting in mineral oil...it's still flat as a pancake and now turning black.

It's always good to show how products with mineral oil do nothing for your skin, and even cause damage.

Thanks, again.
