I just recently had my first visit to a/my LLMD! I got my test results back om the mail. The CD57 test showed the following:

% CD8-/CD57+ Lymphs
Result 3 % Limits 2-17

Abs.CD8-CD57+ Lymphs
Result 48 L /UL Limits 60-130


The IGM western blot showed the following:

IGENEX IGM RESULT POSITIVE
CDC/NYS RESULT POSITIVE

18 kDa. ++

22 kDa. -

**23-25 kDa. IND

28 kDa. -

30 kDa. +

**31 kDa. IND

**34 kDa. +

**39 kDa. +

**41 kDa. ++

45 kDa. -

58 kDa. +

66 kDa. +

73 kDa. -

**83-83 kDa. +

I was also tested for Bartonella and Babesia..

Bartonella henselae by Real-Time PCR: Negative

Babesia microti by Real-Time PCR: Negative

Babesia Microti IgG by ELISA: IgG Neg (Index=0.17)

I'm guessing I will be going on oral abx once I see my LLMD.

Well, it's nice to have a clearly positive test!!!

Why didn't they do the IgG??

Don't take the babs tests to heart. It could still be there.

Lymetoo - I believe I just got the IGM and not IGG, because I already definetly had lyme disease (about 7 years ago, which was inadequately treated.

Isn't the IGG more for initial diagnosis? And yes...it is nice to have such a clearly positive test for confirmation.
