I have had success with Cat's Claw. However, I do not suggest that Cat's Claw in itself is enough. I take MANY different herbs. Mainly from the Buhner Protocol, but not all.

I have had blurry vision over a year ago. It was one of my very bad symptoms. But when I started the herbs it was like a miracle, my vision cleared.

It has gotten blurry again, however, mainly when I PUSH like I am doing now real late at night, with only 5 or 6 hours of sleep the night before.
I have cut my herbs down to about half of what I was taking a few months ago. And last night and tonight, I got the blurry vision again. Howeever I was very tired and fell asleep while watching TV earlier this evening, and when I woke up, my vision had cleared again. It is actually quite good right now.

Read the Healing Lyme book by Stephen Buhner, and especially the chapters and paragraphs on vision problems, and follow his recommendations, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

The ONE person I know of locally who got better without antibiotics at all (and there is only one that I know of) used cats claw and colostrum!!!
But he was not tertiary Lyme, he was still walking normally... Still... it is neat!

JimBob-

Do you have a Dr. supervising the Bruhner protocol for you? Trying to understand how this would all work getting off abx and on to herbs.

NO! It is funny you should ask. My DUCK just about fell over last fall when I told him about all the herbs I used to be on.

He was SOoooooooo worried that my Liver was destroyed from all the herbs. He took tests along with many other tests. I sure would like to have been there when he saw my tests.

My LIVER came through with flying colors. He sent me a note saying everything was great, I just need to work on my cholestrol.

I have been on my "own" along with Stephen Harrod Buhner and his book "Healing Lyme" from the beginning. I strongly recommend it.

I also recommend starting out real slow to see WHAT you can tolerate easily and what each does for you. I reported not too long ago HOW I did it. It was in someone's thread, not a separate one.

I have done very little abx. I had "bad" results from them for the most part. Even though they MAY have done SOME good. They kill my stomach.

Hope this helps a little.

My CD57 went from 84 to 134 in three months on Raintree Cat's Claw. I continue to use it.
