I have read scattered information on various micoplasma (bugs with no cell walls) that often accompany Bb as coinfections.

Some of the worst ones seem to be responsible for rheumatoid arthritis, and others for tmj and recurrent jaw infections, others for lower abdominal infections.

Can anyone explain how to test for some of these nasty sneaky bugs, and where to find more info on treatment?

Besides my own stray pets, I believe I see lots of these other squatters daily in my unsuspecting chronically ill clients.

I'd be greatful for some leads.

In the midst of chaos and squallor [dizzy] ,

Hi Bejoy,
As directed above go to www.immed.org.Then go to www.roadback.org and chat awhile on the bulletin board and order the book recommended there. Also go to www.infection-connection.com and get Dr Katherine Poehlmanns book.

These sites are loaded with info that once you put it all together things begin to make sense.Alot of the autoimmune illnesses have been found to be microbial based but dont expect your average doctor to know. Its all way over their heads. I began this journey at a doctors office that treats these kinds of illnesses with antibiotics with great success.I never saw those kinds of results in the many years I went to a high priced rheumy. The people in the rheumys waiting room were generally unhappy with treatment and dealing with side effects from harsh immune suppressing drugs just like me.

Life changed after I spoke with Dr katherine Poehlmann and got to the AP (antibiotic protocol) doctor.Things got better. If people here on lymenet ever have friends or family suffering from auto immune or rheumatic illnesses,it would be worth it to direct them to this information.I credit Dr. Poehlmann and Dr Garth Nicolson with saving my life....Pass it on,Take Care.....RG

Medical Diagnostics Labs in NJ specializes in testing for mycoplasmas. That is where I got my positive PCR.
