I made an appointment with LLMD for early April and right now I'm on Doxy and Cipro.

Before I can get to this LLMD, I hope my PCP would use her best judgement helping me in the mean time. So any medical suggestion would be highly appreciated for my new symptoms!

1. My finger joints began to hurt two weeks ago and seem to worsen. I often wake up at night feeling my fingers numb due to lack of blood or something, and my joints really hurt when I squeeze my fist.

2. Also, my hands tremor is now continuous and I can obviously notice it when I hold something in my hands.

Per your experience, is there any other medicine helpful for these two symptoms besides Doxy and/or Cipro?

I have other common symptoms like floaters, sensitivity to light, occasional headache and less capability to think and speak clearly...

Thanks a lot!!

Hi! and Welcome!

I was wondering if you had any testing done already?

I'm sure others will suggest helpful things for you also, but try a search on this board for taking supplements.

My daughter was told to take SAM GLA, Malic B6, and B-12. We have switched the SAM GLA for flax seeds.

Actually two very important things you can go ahead and try to get under control is sleep and pain. Work with your PCP if you need help with sleep and pain! Your body will thank you!

Mommak,

Thanks for your advice!

I have some blood test done in Qest lab and PCP said it's negative (not sure what type of test, will ask).

I could sleep now, not sure if it's because of abx or zoloft.

My finger joint pain is relatively new to me and I just want to do something not for it to get worse. I'll look into the supplements.

Not sure if my headache is herx or virus/bacteria...

Thanks again!

hi justag [Smile]

It may help to write a detailed list of when each symptom started -as close to the time frame as possible.

And also how much each symptoms effect you...like on a scale of 1-10 how bad do they feel.

Ditto on bringing any & all medical record with you that you have.

Write down a head of time what meds and supps you are taking & dosages. Also write down ahead ot time what you are allergic to.

Also very important write down ahead of time any questions you have regaurding the disease & treatment.

I tened to go to my LLMD & my concentration & memory where not the greatest. And would be like on the way home go-darn I forgot to ask him about... [Smile]

Good luck

& hope you can feel better soon [group hug]

Blessings [Smile]
Dana

Hello justag,

I did not here you say anything about getting rid of the toxins in your body that cause new symptoms and make existing ones worsen.

If you are not doing so I'll tell you why this would be important. The antibiotic kills the bacteria which has to decay to pass through the blood stream. This causes toxins to be released and that causes more pain.

This is what I did to get rid of toxins;
Nothing worked better for me than Detox Max Plus but I could not find it anywhere but my LLMD.This form of detoxing works inside your body rather than your intestine.

I started taking activated charcoal, this binds the toxins and carries them out, with extra virgin olive oil, this stimulates your liver and gall bladder to release bilirubin and bile into the intestines so the charcoal can carry toxins out.

I drank unpasturized honey with apple cider vinegar.

I took extra vitamine C.

I take an asprin daily as Borelliosis causes blood to thicken and clot.

The antibiotics also kill the good bacteria which you need in your intestines, you can obtain these at any pharmacy. Also eat plenty of yogurt with living coulters, and buttermilk.

Toxins were killing me, I felt so much better when I began to address them.

I have floaters and sensitive to sunlight they are much better though.

I have taken around 20 antibiotics in three years. Each one has a different target. With Borreliosis patients there are usually more than one infection going on. Ticks can carry many diseases.

Please read this thread for a little more information:

I am sorry you are sick. May God bless you and help you get well.

I have a wealth of information and I'll be happy to share where I can.

I am certainly no medical expert, but I have battled this disease for three and one half years.

Keep on smiling. [Smile]
