Why is it so hard to kill off this yeast. I've been dealing with this problem for over a year now.

The minute I get off my diet or stop the Diflucan it comes right back.

I've been off ab for over a year and stopped the Zhang treatment about 6 months ago and still need to do a diet and Diflucan to keep it away.

Why does it keep coming back being off the ab for so long?

Other then the yeast problem I have felt really great for a few months now, so if I could just knock this crap down I'd feel pretty normal. What ever that is. LOL

Thanks ImLymed

I am on the diet but cheat pretty regularly. My candida has been rampant in the past - what seems to work best for me is the diet along with ThreeLac. I am not yet able to add the Oxygen Elements yet due to my sensitivities but my understanding is that the O2 adds an extra punch to the yeast. Good luck.

ImLymed:

I think that many people forget that the body does try to protect itself in many ways. Yeast can be found in many people who also have heavy metal issues. It does not take a lot of metal in the body to start the influx of yeast. My homeopathic doc, who also treats a lot of heavy metal patients, sees yeast issues across the board in these patients. The yeast forms to protect the body from the metal.

We have also seen in my case, where the yeast also has hidden infection. I was babs free for 5 months and my bart was almost non-existant, and we started to work on really killing of the yeast and within 5 days my babs and bart resurfaced. Its not like I have ignored yeast throughout treatment, but on trying to get it down to pre lyme levels blew up in my face.

We now are addressing my low metal issues and the yeast at the same time, and watching out for a rise in any of the tic infections.

Insuline issues can also be found in many lyme patients. I don't have diabetes but I do have sugar metabolism issues from all the infections. This also has made it hard to keep the yeast away, the enviroment just promotes yeast.

I am leaning more and more to what GIGI has been stating all the time about metals, yeast and these infections.

I think for me the lyme has lowered my immune system. And also taking abx all these years I may have lowered my flora population. Even though I have taken probiotics.

I have been off abx because of stomach problems now for 8 months. Stll get yeast problems.

I have absolutely needed to take the abx over the years-it has brought my life back many times but can't seem to get away from the yeast problems.

Am on a restrictive diet. No sugar low carbs. I take theralac, aphodophillis with FOA & DDS, probiotics pearsl, olive leaf extract, coconut milk.

Very frustrating.

Ditto what johnlyme1 said.

Have your mercury fillings out and detox!

I am in the process now, and after every filling I have removed my doc has me come in for a Vitamin C IV it usually about 30,000mg then he moves it up when your ready. Plus take Chlorella it does help.
