I know how most everyone feels about LabCorp and why but I had to utilize them since it would cost me nothing...
I got my labwork in the mail today and am really disturbed by what I see.
LabCorp only tests for 3 bands on the IgM?? Band 41, 39 and 23?? Im really confused as I thought they usually test the same bands IgG and IgM. AND you have to get 2 out of 3 to be CDC postive?

My doctor said I was "lucky" since I tested positive with labcorp. Guess it all depends on how you define lucky.
In all seriousness, his assertion was that most people stop producing antibodies at some point and either do not get diagnosed with lyme or are fortunate to find an LLMD who will make a clinical diagnosis. I was a no brainer to him with 3 positive elisa's and wb
