Hello --
7 g/day amoxy (3.5g BID) 250/100 malarone
By the way -- the increase to 7g/day amoxy helped me in ways that the 3-4 g/day that I had taken for several months did not.
My llmd is examing my blood levels of amoxy to see if I can go up to 12g/day amoxy, and I am all for it. (Weigh 135 lbs). It has been pretty benign and easy to handle abx for me, whereas doxy made me feel awful even though it helped.

I was on a soup of medications: such not-so-fond memories return as I look at what some of you are on.
Now on Doxy 200 mg in AM & PM daily; Tindamax 500 mg in AM & PM three days a week.

Andie333, I've been on ceftin 1000mg/day for 3 months and my LLMD said that was a mistake of the pharmacy and I should have been on that amount twice a day.
I just picked up my refill and am a little nervous since I get a dull ache just below my stomach at the lower dose shortly after taking it.
youve been taking even more than that---no problem in the gut for you?

Minocycline 100mg x twice a day. Mepron - two spoonfuls a day. Zith - 250 mg twice a day Artemisinin - 400 mg a day (down from three doses to 2)
The mino was wretched in the beginning -- heart palpitations, dizziness, weakness.. tapered off after a couple weeks and isn't bad any more! However, adding it solved a several-year long problem of uncontrolled diarrhea that did not respond to ANY OTHER MED. :-)

200 mg mino per day
I am not yet seeing an llmd -- have not yet been able to find one taking new patients. I am on a waiting list, though.
My current doc believes in long term abx for lyme, so I will stick with him until I can get in with an LLMD.
Probably need to be tested for co-infections at some point.
Getting better on the mino, though. So no complaints.
