First some stats: - I have neuro lyme and tested positive for the co-infections Bartonella and Enrichlia - I went untreated for at least a year and a half (but could have been longer) - I started oral antibiotics 15 months ago: 3 months tetracycline (no improvement) 5 months biaxin/plaquenil (no improvement but supressed some symptoms) 1.5 months mino (no improvement) 2 months Ketek and Ceftin (no improvement but supressed some symptoms) 3 months IV Rocephin (in the 3rd month added rifampin)(no improvement) Currently on IV Doxy and rifampin The IV doxy is killing me due to the fatigue and nausea and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to stop it. I don't know what to do next. None of the above antibiotics have helped me except maybe the rifampin a little. What could be going on that I can't find anything that really pushes this out of my system. I don't really herx either - I just don't get better or my sypmtoms get sligthly supressed. Help!!

Do you have any babesia symptoms? The tests can be a false negative. You have to treat the babs first if you have it.
Other than that, I agree that you need to talk to your LLMD about it.

Just my opinion, but it seems that the fatigue and nausea could be herxing on the doxy. Also, if you noticed suppressed symptoms while on abx then I would say it was helping, but perhaps you were not on it long enough.
My LLMD had me on Ketek for 9 months, etc. I eventually saw good improvement, although I have a long way to go still.
