I ran into a woman who said she went to someone who said they can cure lyme using samento liquid drops and diet (and of course you buy her food and take her treatments).
I'm not that familiar with samento and don't know whether she was a llmd or homeo or what, but I don't think she's correct.
Didn't want to argue with a stranger tho......
So this is a hoax right???

I doubt it can alone. But there are many reports that the cowden protocol , which includes samento and a few other herbs, has helped many people.
I think it is worth a try , as well as Buhner's protocol . Personally , I think andrographis is the strongest herbal I have tried .

I think it's wise to be skeptical anytime the words "cure" and "Lyme" are used together.

Where have you seen reports of success on the Cowden protocol? I know one lady who is seeing improvement and she is doing Cowden along with other stuff. I did a post here once about Cumanda and no one responded.
I would love to hear more about success with this protocol.

The cornerstone of our recovery was Samento along with some other powerful herbs. Here are a couple of my former posts that cover some of our alternative choices.
Dr. Cowden's research really helped my wife and I. We now enjoy good health with no symtoms.

I take 2 drop each of samento and andrographis and within about 15 minutes of taking either of them, I feel tingling and pins and needles all throughout my body. They are both very powerful herbs.

I think we have to keep in mind the definition of Lyme when we are talking about what is going to work for any individuals.
Lyme isn't just for Borrelia Bergdorferi anymore.
Lyme can be a coctail of any number of pathogens, protozoa, mycoplasma, and their friends, many or most of which nobody has even developed tests for.
What might work for somebody with a smaller load of measurable pathogens might work differently for somebody with the sneakier varieties.
My impression is that any of the good herbals work best in combination with sleep, heavy metal detox, liver detox, sleep, candida cleanse, allergy elimination, and human pest elimination, and did I mention sleep.
Yeah, right, well I'm working on it.
With good attention to those details, it seems to me that there are many good protocols, herbal and otherwise, that can bring about a healthy experience.

That is the clearest, simplest summary I have read on this forum to date.
You must be doing something right for your own healing process ... in order to be able to write that well!
I agree with what you have written, and if I wasn't working on going to sleep early tonight, I might try to see if I could come up with something more to add.
Peace to all.

Sleep is ONE of the main things I am lacking, not only now with Lyme, but always.
Always been a night owl.
I do know that my vision is much better early in the day than late at night. AND it is worse for wear WHEN I spend so much time at the computer, like the last couple of weeks.
WOW, thundering out there and all of a sudden pouring rain. THAT should get rid of most of the rest of the snow here.
Back to the subject at hand:
I doubt VERY much IF Samento would take care of it alone. THAT would be especially true with those of us who have had Lyme many years.
I have been on MANY, many herbs for the past 16 months and also some abx, and NOW that I have cut back to about 1/3 of my maximum protocol, I am having many symptoms coming back. So after I go to the ostomy Nurse on Thursday, tomorrow, I will have to see about ramping back up again soon before I lose all I have gained this past year.
I personally feel, also, that WHOLE Cat's Claw has as much and probably MORE benefits than the extract.
Also, Stephania Root, Andrographis, Resveratrol, Nettle, Sarsaparilla, Periwinkle, along with other herbs help in the TOTAL protocol.
