I have this symptom where I am nervous all the time. It almost feels like when I was in college going to give a speech. That feeling in
the pit of my stomach. It is driving me nuts! Then when I do have something to be nervous
about I get such bad anxiety. I feel like it is hard to handle daily stress.
My doctor has me on a beta blocker for the fast heart beats, and xanx when needed. I am also being treated for babs right now with
Malarone, and Zithro. Is this a babs symptom or Lyme? Please tells me this gets better during treatment.

Hi Marcie,
I had some very bad herxes with Babesia, sheer panic, it was horrible. It was related more to Babesia than Lyme for me.
A herb called Rhodiola and green tea does help a little bit. I never took xanx, but I hope it helps you get through it.
And yes, it gets better, but it can be hard to go through, so hang in there.

I had this too - I think it is babesia. I still do get those feelings sometimes when I am really run down or have not gotten enough sleep it comes back. I think it can be part mineral imbalance.
Ele-max by Tyler helps me with this a lot. I take one cap a day on an empty stomach in the a.m. but you can work up to two caps. I gave my LLMD a list of the ingredients in Ele-max and he thought it sounded good.
Also google cell salts which are just minerals and under 10 bucks a bottle of tab. I like Hylands the best. They are just minerals and in a form that is easy for your body to take in. They melt under your tongue.
You might buy the mag phos and ferrum phos and kali phos to start all in 6 x. You can take them often and there is plenty of free info on them on the web. There is a good book about them called Nature's 12 magic healers. They aslo make a combo one called Biochemic Phosphate Cell Salts which is good for stress and anxiety.
I hope you feel better soon because it is no fun to feel neuro symptoms.

I had something like this, I could not tolerate any kind of stress, even the sound of a lawn mower, or the sound of cars, my whole
system would feel like collapsing from this.
I also felt uptight all the time.
When I first found out I had lyme, I was put on Biaxin and Flagyl, I had had undiagnosed lyme for about 15 years.
I had this feeling completley go, I could relax, and nothing bothered me, I could handle the lawn mower again, I felt soooooooooo relaxed.
At that time for me this was lyme.
I am not feeling well again, and I have this feeling again, but it is not as pronounced as back then, I am not getting better, hopefully will again,
Trish

During my first few months of treatment I was very nervous. I couldn't be around people, loud noises, etc. Xanax helped me a lot. It's definately a Lyme symptom. After a few months I only got it once in a while (like during a herx or during PMS) Now (over a year into treatment) I rarely get it.
It usually passes. Xanax is good - see if your Dr. will let you take it more often while you need it or ask for something "longer lasting" like Chlorazepate. (same family of drugs but lasts a lot longer and will help you sleep) I used Chlorazepate, Ativan AND Xanax during my bad time and weaned back down to just a pill at night (Ativan to sleep) very quickly.

Thank you all for your input. Hopefully this will go away soon. I have two small boys that have a ton of energy. Just watching them jump around makes me nervous.
Mojo- Do you see a doctor in MI or out of state. I see Dr. L in Saginaw.
