King's Park, this is your spinal tap result. You know that was positive, as indeed it says. You're "lucky" as that happens only rarely.

What we were wondering about is the supposedly negative Western Blot.

Can you get THAT test result?

I personally don't think you need any other testing to say that you have lyme. Do not let your duck's "negative" western blot make you think the spinal tap result was incorrect. Get a western blot from IGeneX!

Just remembered, the blood test (Western Blot) in the bllod came back Neg. And he told me he did the same test on the spinal fluid and that came back Neg. also. Therefore he is ruling out th LD diagnosis, and pretty much sending me on my way because both Western Blot tests came back Ned.. Should I call him and get a copy of the Western Block results from the spinal, and post it? Thanks

Get the tests results and get thee away and then get a LLMD soon!

hurry

ps the nuro is wrong on all counts when it comes to lyme. You might get one out of 50 who understands lyme thats a over estimation.

Get a reliable LLMD and take copies of tests with you he may want to redo the western blot after a coarse of higher doses of abx's priming the pump so to speak.

Kings Park,

Do as others say and take your results to a lyme literate Dr. and get started with the program. If any band on the western blot is positive you are more than likely positive.

If you herx, you are probably positive.

Sorry you are sick, but you have found a wealth of information at this site, as I have, and you will start to regain a more meaningful life.

If you have been taking antibiotics for anything this will kill lyme bacteria and cause toxins to fill your body. These cause much pain. If you have taken them it is easy to detox, let us know.

Hope you will seek a LLMD, and run there as soon as possible with all your test results.

Life is so great when you know that you don't have to live sick like this forever.

You will have an instant relief when the Dr. says he can help you get your life back. I know I did.

Hope you get to see someone soon.
