Thank you to all who recommended Chitosan. I started taking it several days ago and within 24 hrs had amazing results. It took away a lot of my heavy head symptoms, dizziness, fatigue, overall crappy feeling. I must have had a ton of toxins in me! Also liking the foot detox pads that Scott recommended by health marvels! Always black and gooey the next morning! Watch out Lyme...I am taking control! -Nikki

Glad to hear the results you are seeing with the foot pads. I have to say that it amazes me sometimes how well people find them to work even though I hear it again and again. Glad to hear they are helping you. Be well

Nikki,

I'm glad to hear both of these are working for you.

When and how do you take your Chitosan? I am worried about pulling the good nutrients out of my system, and leaving the junk behind.

Is there a particular brand of chitosan you are using and others are recommending? I am on cholestyramine but have heard good things about chitosan, too.

I have been taking the cheap brand of Chitosan that is at the health food store (about $7.50). People said they hadnt seen a difference between this and the more expensive Chitopower (I think is the name). It is a supplement that works the same way as Questran to help bind and pull out fat soluable neurotoxins from the body. It is my understanding that it can absorb some vitamins, so I have been taking the Chitosan 2 times a day away from my abx and vitamins. I felt like I was in a dizzy brain fog since September....this is the first time I have felt clearer. It is made of shellfish I believe, so I think you can not take this product if you are allergic. Good luck! -Nikki

I bought a bottle of Chitosan and it says take four capsules before each meal.

I'd like to try it but I'm not sure about that dosage.

Does that sound right? Sounds like a lot to me.
