I have been going into my FIR sauna for about 40 minutes 2X day lately to help me get over my herxing.
How do I replace my missing electrolytes? What do I take? How much? I am on a strict anti-yeast diet, so I don't want to have any sugar. Should I be taking any other suppliments to aid in my detoxing?
If you could, please give me some advice. I have no idea what I should be doing.

My LLMD says a bit of lemon juice in your drinking water helps with a herx.

I like Glaceau Smartwater, electrolyte enhanced water. It's unsweetened, has no flavor, just tastes like water. It's good for replenishing lost fluids.
I believe bananas are high in potassium and also a good prebiotic.

Hi!
In my experience (lots of sauna and living in Florida), you need to be sure to take lots of potassium as well as salt. Most potassium tabs have only 99 mg of potassium, whereas the salt pills usually have 450 mg of salt, so you need 4 or 5 potassium to each salt tablet, not one to one.
I particularly like bioplasma--a homeopathic cell salts in little tablets.
Another good choice is Emergen-C packets. However, this doesn't have enough to replace what you lose in a sauna, in my opinion.
My favorite is ElectrolyteStamina from Trace Minerals. It's pretty expensive, so I get a case at a time to push the price down. In my book, it's the best choice out there. I've helped a lot of people who had heat exhaustion with them, and the results are very fast. No wierd effects, just helps the body hum along.
Love,
