I started zithromax a couple of months ago. It caused constant diarrhea. I've finally managed to get it almost stopped by increasing my probiotics to 2X per day. I take a HUGE amount of probiotics and I also take kefir and yogurt.
I don't have any tips other than to mention that you might want to do a search for zithromax to see what has been said about it in the past. Terry

Some people get GI pain from it after a week so I would be prophylactic with probiotics!!!!!!!!!

Not a typical first line choice for lyme disease although it is used by some LLMD. Sometimes combined with Plaquenil (same class as Biaxin). I was only on it for a short time and felt no positive effect from it.
