More and more information is coming out about cyst forms. How can anyone get well if you don't kill these cysts. One researcher put cysts on a shelf for six years. He then took them and put them in a solution and they developed into spiral form within a few weeks. As far as I know there is only one drug that is effective for cysts. You have to treat both forms at the same time, otherwise the spiral will convert to cysts and the cycle continues.

The antibiotics I know of that are given to eradicate the cystic forms are metronidazole ('flagyl') and tinidazole. A course of one of these abx after you are for the most part "back in the world of the living" will optimize your chances of not having a relapse. For me, tinidazole was prescribed, along with clarithromycin, as well as some herbal things. The treatment still appears to have done the trick....
