I have a very dry left elbow, scaly. But the worst is my right arm from elbow to wrist. Its not red but very dry and scaly. It loos normal jus a litle pale. But to touch is like touching an alligator. Really rough.
Ive used everything otc I can think of. My nose is dry but not my mouth.
Doesnt itch but jus feels really bad. Legs are dry but not like this.
Psoriasis meds dont help. Dont think a doc would help either.
Lyme or jus winter dry skin? What do you recommend??

Coconut oil daily sopped up good on the elbow area. No the skin condition has not disappeared.
Only the itching and unsightly redness, irritation has been helped by coconut oil for 3 mths.
My elbows had gotten so bad that not only the skin was effected but I had things going on under the skin, like deeper and to the bone.
All research tells me mine is ACA, which is from a European strain of lyme. No, I haven't been to Europe or out of the country in over 17 yrs.
Are feeling anything under the skin? Irritation or even bone pain?

My husband had even made the comment....what's that on your elbows? If my husband noticed how scaly and awful looking my elbows were, I knew it was time to find something that worked.
I had tried steroid rx creams, lotions, tea tree(which burned like crazy)and other essential oils and finally it was the coconut oil that helped the most.
