Just wondering the most common or effective abx. The reason I ask is because I did rocephin for 11 weeks with no improvement. Tried zithromax/ceftin/tindamax which couldnt tolerate the ceftin for more than a few days of severe stomach pain. And the zith caused diarrhea to be too bad after a week. (oh and before those 3 I tried penicillin vk)-stomach problems. Which is why I went back to iv and DR trying me on vanco. This doesnt seem to be a very common drug on here and im wondering what combo's others are using. BTW, have had what seems to be herx on vanco and a new symptoms...including fast heart rate and hard to get a good breath and palps when laying on either side(which could be partially from picc catheter) So what abx and supplements are commonly used to treat babesia? ALSO, Im wondering if a lower dose is just as effective as a higher one, which may make the orals more tolerable to stomach/gi.
