Hello all

I used to have normal ringing buzzing and clicking sounds in my ears....well normal for Lyme patients anyway. At one point I had the strangest morse code sounds in my ears or head. It sounds like an electronic beeping....long and short sounds. Kind of scary. Then after a few months it went away. I'm trying to remember if it was with babesia treatment that it went away. Well, now it's back with a vengeance.I have some artemisin on order so I hope it helps. I've been on Lyme treatment for several years when this came about which is why I'm hoping the morse code sounds are from the babesia. Anyone else have this?

I suspect Babs too. Have you had hyperacusis? Ringing, buzzing in both ears or just one? Does the tinnitus ever sound like the hum of a superconductor?

Anyone think this ear plague (from Babs and/or Lyme)is particularly problematic for people with high TNFalpha and hypercoag problems? Just wondering out loud.

So sorry you're dealing with this, just wanted to let you know you are not alone.

WOW. SO that is what that was so many years ago...now I know.

It has DEFINITIELY subsided. Hang in there.

Ringing of the ears... OMG this was my third symptom after muscle twitching, then panic attacks. I dont give the morse code thingy, but mine started out as a buzz then turned into a hum type of ring, I havent gotten any relief from that yet. Hope that you and everyone else with that will get some soon! Brian

Yes....I've definitely had hyperacusis. And lately it seems that I can hear my watch ticking from across the room. Machinery hums in the distance (at least I think that's what it is), the whine of my hard drive makes me crazy. What does the hum of a superconducter sound like? Seems like I'm much more aware of electronic sounds, whines from motors...etc

Ringin, buzzing and clicking in the ears can be very disconcerting (I've had all that) but this morse code sounding stuff....because it is electronic sounding...is even more creepy. It does help tho to hear some others have had this also
